Children’s Center “Quo vadis” 9 years old

On November 17, Children’s Center “Quo vadis” celebrated its ninth anniversary from the time of foundation. Program of the celebration included children’s performances that were presented in front their parents, relatives, and friends. A special guest of the concert was Bishop Jan Sobilo who, together with kids and workers of the Center, took an active part in performances, singing, and playing fairy-tales.
Let me remind that Children’s Center “Quo vadis”,affiliated to Caritas-Spes Berdyansk, was founded in 2002 in order to work with children from poor or one-parent families, where they don’t get enough care and attention. Children from 3 to 15 years old attend the Center. They are divided into three groups: junior (3 – 4 years), middle (5 – 6 years), and senior (schoolchildren). Children get meals, do their homework, and play in the Center. In the junior groups kids study how to write, to count, and to draw. Pupils may spend a good time attending different classes of interest, playing educational games and entertaining in other ways. The work of this Children’s Center is grounded on family basics – older children help the younger ones. Moreover, close connection between the Center and family members is maintained.
“Quo vadis” is very grateful to all organizations and people that support the Center; thanks to them it has been functioning already for nine years.
