Recreational Camp in Yablunytsa (Ivano-Frankivsk region)

Since 2005, we have been constructing new brick houses instead of old ones in “Kinderdorf Yablunytsia”. In order to make houses higher and more commodious, construction works on preparing foundation and underwalling are provided. After that, the old houses are removed on the brickwork with the help of special assistive devices. Upholstery replacement is provided in houses from both outside and inside and the roof is replaced too. The floor is also completely replaced. Reconstructed houses will not be used up so quickly because their wooden construction is already raised from the ground and protected from moisture. Currently, 14 houses out of 20 have an updated look with autonomous heating system and reinforced plastic windows. New houses are larger, lighter, more comfortable, and more energy-saving. They enable summer camp to function as a year-round recreation center and make staying of children here more enjoyable.

For further reconstruction of the recreational centers we need more funds. We would be grateful for any assistance in this project to help children and to improve their recreation.
